Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Christina Wysocki #22952 Race: 2026 Boulderthon Half Marathon Distance: 13.1 miles

Even Pacing Through the Middle Miles Sets Up a Strong Closing Kick Christina Wysocki finished the half marathon in 1:37:07, placing 271st overall and 48th among women in a field of 7,223. That result came from a race run almost entirely in the 7:107:30 per-mile range, with only brief dips near miles 8 and 11 before she pulled the pace back down over the closing miles. Her strongest stretch came right at the end: after easing to 7:58 at mile 11, she rebounded to a 7:21 in mile 12 and closed with a 7:01 in mile 13, her fastest full mile of the race. That finishing surge carried her onto the Pearl Street Mall, the shared finish line for every distance at Boulderthon, capping a well-controlled effort.
