Strong Start Holds Through Six Miles Before Late Miles Slow the Pace Daniel Kaminski finished the half marathon in 2:09:29, averaging 9:53 per mile across the 13.1-mile course in Boulder. The first six miles were the highlight, holding tight between 9:16 and 9:41 per mile through the opening 56 minutes. From mile 7 onward, the pace eased into the 10:0611:06 range, with mile 11 marking the slowest split of the day. The final two miles steadied back to 10:03 per mile, closing out the race on the Pearl Street Mall at over 5,000 feet of elevation. Runners passing through the second half of this course crossed the lululemon Power-Up Zone near mile 9.5, right around where Kaminski's pace first began to loosen.
