Strong Finishing Kick Powers Steady Half Marathon Cruz Ridgeway ran the 2026 Boulderthon Half Marathon in 1:57:42, settling into a rhythm after a 10:20 opening mile and steadily working his pace down through the middle miles. His cumulative pace tightened from 9:48 min/mile at mile 2 to 8:58 min/mile by the finish, showing consistent gains across the race. Mile 12 stood out as his best full-mile stretch, clocked at 7:35, a notable drop from the 8:55-9:15 min/mile range that defined much of the middle portion of the course. That surge into the closing miles helped him close strong toward the Pearl Street Mall finish, a fitting capstone in a city recognized by National Geographic as the Happiest City in America.
