Strong Early Pace Fades Late But Finishes Solid Tony Moore completed the Half Marathon at 2026 Boulderthon in 1:49:31, an average pace of 8:21 per mile. Moore's race opened fast, holding a steady 7:287:31 pace through the first six miles, his strongest stretch of the day. From there the pace eased through the middle miles, dipping into the 9:00s by mile nine and slowing further near mile eleven before he rallied to close out with two sub-9:20 miles to the finish on the Pearl Street Mall. That late stretch fell near the lululemon Power-Up Zone, positioned around mile 9.5 of the half, just as his pace began to shift. Given the strength of his opening 10K, a touch more even pacing into the second half could help him carry that early speed further next time.
