Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Kaige Sellers #20746 Race: 2026 Boulderthon Half Marathon Distance: 13.1 miles

Third Straight Year of Faster Finishes Kaige Sellers crossed in 1:47:38, good for 648th overall and first in the non-binary division out of 7,223 in the field, also topping the age group. This continues a steady climb: 2:33:13 in 2023, 1:55:26 in 2025, and now the fastest of the three. The race opened strong, with miles 3-4 clicking off at 7:37 and 7:36, the quickest stretch of the day. Pace held tight through the middle miles in the high 7:00s before easing slightly near mile 11, then tightened again to close things out. That early surge set the tone for a well-paced back half, holding position near the front of the field all the way to the Pearl Street Mall finish no small feat at Boulder's mile-high altitude.
