Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Elizabeth Legro #22166 Race: 2026 Boulderthon Half Marathon Distance: 13.1 miles

Strong Front Half Anchors a Division Win Elizabeth Legro finished the Half Marathon in 1:28:36, placing 118th overall and 16th among women, good enough for first in her 30-34 age division. Her opening mile clicked by in 6:19, and she settled into a rhythm that hovered between 6:20 and 6:30 pace through the first six miles. Miles 7-9 brought a natural cooling to the 7:00-7:23 range before Legro found another gear, closing with a mile 12 split of 6:26 her fastest full mile after the early going and carrying that strength to the line. The result reflects well-paced management across a course that finishes on the Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder, a city sitting above 5,000 feet of elevation.
