Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Vasily Vasinov #22704 Race: 2026 Boulderthon Half Marathon Distance: 13.1 miles

Steady Pace Anchors Strong Finish Vasily Vasinov ran 1:35:01 at the 2026 Boulderthon Half Marathon, finishing 221st overall and 179th among men. That result lands just seconds off his 1:35:40 from the 2024 Boulderthon, a near-identical performance two years apart. Vasinov's early miles were his strongest, clicking off miles 1-6 between 7:06 and 7:15 to build a cushion. He settled into the 7:20s-7:30s through the middle miles before closing hard, running his final mile in 7:03 - his fastest split after the opening mile. That last-mile surge, capping a race run entirely at 5,000-plus feet of altitude, reflects well-managed effort from start to finish.
