Strong Front-Half Pace Carries Denver Runner to Top-3% Finish Andrew Briley ran 1:32:06 at the 2026 Boulderthon Half Marathon, finishing 167th overall and 140th among men out of the field of 7,223. He also placed 24th in the M30-34 division. Briley's race showed a clear shape: the first six miles clicked off between 6:41 and 6:55, keeping his cumulative pace under 6:50 through the halfway point. Miles 7 through 11 eased slightly, with splits settling into the 7:07-7:32 range, before he found another gear over mile 12 at 6:53, his fastest mile after the opening six. That opening stretch through mile 6 stands as the strongest running of his race, and holding closer to that rhythm in the middle miles could be a useful target for a future half.
