Her race built steadily through the opening miles, holding in the 7:257:35 range through mile six her strongest mile-plus stretch of the day. A gradual softening followed from miles seven through eleven, with pace drifting toward 7:498:06, before she rallied over the final two miles to close in 7:36 and 7:45. That finishing push, on a course that starts and ends near the Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder, capped a well-managed effort at altitude above 5,000 feet.
