Ten-Minute Turnaround Fuels Stronger Half Drew Bishop ran the 2026 Boulderthon Half Marathon in 2:33:52, cutting nearly eleven minutes off his 2:44:37 finish from 2025. His pace held steady through the middle miles, dipping only once mid-race before settling back into rhythm for a strong close. After opening near 11:20 pace through the first two miles, Bishop found his best stretch between miles 3 and 5, clicking off 11:08, 10:59, and 10:49 splits. Following a brief mile-6 disruption, he rebounded with his fastest full mile of the day at mile 10 (10:28/mile), then held between 10:44 and 11:55 pace through the finish on the Pearl Street Mall. With the half course's elevation gain trimmed nearly 50% this year, from 384 to 203 feet, Bishop's steadier back half reflects the more forgiving terrain.
