Strong Closing Kick Caps a Steady Effort Jack Moran covered the half marathon in 1:50:57 (8:28/mile), finishing behind his 1:46:46 from 2024 and his 1:42:17 from 2025 at the same race. Moran's pace stayed tight through the first seven miles, hovering between 8:20 and 8:39. Miles eight and nine slowed slightly to 8:57 and 9:00, around where the lululemon Power-Up Zone sits near mile 9.5 of the half course. He then turned in his strongest stretch of the day, dropping to 8:04 for mile 12 and 7:35 for mile 13 to close things out. That finish came at Boulder's altitude of over 5,000 feet, adding weight to the steady pacing he held across the second half of the race.
