Top-10 Half Marathon Finish Anchored by a Strong Close Nehemiah Cionelo crossed the line in 1:12:07, good for 10th overall and 10th among men in a field of 7,223 at the 2026 Boulderthon Half Marathon. His opening mile was his fastest at 5:06, and he held pace in the 5:20s through the middle miles before a natural dip between miles 8 and 11, where splits crept into the high 5:40s and 5:50s. He answered that stretch with a strong close, dropping to 5:25 and then 5:11 over the final two miles to finish with real momentum. That last surge, run at over 5,000 feet of elevation in Boulder, stood out as the sharpest sustained effort of his race and pulled his overall pace back down to 5:30 per mile by the finish.
