Steady Pacing Delivers Ben Bravermans Second-Fastest Boulderthon Half Ben Braverman finished the 2026 Boulderthon Half Marathon in 1:40:19, a slight step back from his 1:39:56 in 2025 but well ahead of his 1:53:08 in 2024. His pacing stayed remarkably even throughout, hovering between 7:30 and 7:54 per mile for most of the race before tightening in the closing miles. From mile 10 to the finish, he covered three miles in roughly 22:46, a 7:35 per mile pace his strongest sustained stretch of the day and a strong finishing kick. That closing surge came right around the lululemon Power-Up Zone near mile 9.5, a fitting boost before his final push into downtown Boulder. Given Boulders elevation above 5,000 feet, Bravermans consistent pacing throughout stands out as a well-managed effort from start to finish.
