Strong Start, Steady Finish Seal a Top-Tier Half Zachary Stone crossed the line in 1:36:32, placing 257th overall and 211th among men in a field of 7,223 at the 2026 Boulderthon Half Marathon. Stone opened fast, covering the first six miles in 40:24 a 6:44 average pace putting him well inside the race's top 150 at that point. The middle miles cooled slightly, with mile nine ticking up before he settled into a 7:307:50 rhythm over the closing miles, a stretch that lines up with the race's lululemon Power-Up Zone near mile 9.5. He held that pace through downtown Boulder to the finish on the Pearl Street Mall, closing with a 7:22 overall pace at more than 5,000 feet of elevation. The early miles stand as the highlight of his day; a touch more evenness late could sharpen the overall average next time.
