Faster Finish Cuts Time and Places at Boulderthon Half Gabbie Lochbaum ran 1:45:12 at the 2026 Boulderthon Half Marathon, improving on her 2025 time of 1:46:37 and moving up from 685th to 549th overall out of a field of 7,223, and from 200th to 131st among women. Lochbaum's opening six miles were her strongest, clicking off in the 7:24-7:41 range and building a cushion before the pace eased through the middle miles, settling into the 8:10-8:46 stretch from mile 7 to 11. She closed with modest recovery over the final two miles, dropping back toward 8:12-8:24 pace. That first 6-mile stretch, averaging roughly 7:32 per mile, stands as the fastest sustained running of her race, even with downtown Boulder's altitude in play.
