Arvada Runner Cuts Nearly Five Minutes Off Last Year's 10K Matt Jordan finished the 2026 Boulderthon 10K in 49:20, placing 147th overall and 104th among men out of the field of 3,071. That's a sharp improvement over his 2025 finish of 53:47, shaving 4:27 off his time and climbing well over 150 spots in the overall standings. Jordan's opening mile was his fastest of the day at 7:23, and he built a comfortable cushion through the first three miles before the pace eased slightly in the middle stretch. His strongest sustained mile-plus running came early, holding sub-7:40 pace through 3 miles before settling into the high 7:40s to low 8:00s the rest of the way. The finish brought him through downtown Boulder, a fitting cap to a race run at altitude above 5,000 feet.
