Four-Minute Improvement Highlights Steady 10K Effort Greg Rose crossed the 10K finish in 1:02:12, cutting more than four minutes off his 2025 Boulderthon time of 1:06:34 on the same distance. His overall pace of 10:02 per mile also improved on last year's 10:44 per mile, a solid step forward in the M65-69 field. Rose's race opened strong, covering the first two miles in 19:16 (9:38 per mile), the fastest stretch of his day. He settled into a steady middle portion, holding between 9:42 and 10:11 per mile through miles three to five, before easing to a 10:59 final mile as he closed out the course at over 5,000 feet of elevation. The even pacing across the middle miles, paired with a quick start, made for a well-managed race overall.
