Strong Start Carries Through a Steady 10K Jongho Suh finished the 2026 Boulderthon 10K in 1:04:09. He opened briskly, covering the first mile in 8:30 and the second in 8:53, before easing into the 10:20 to 12:05 per-mile range for the remainder of the race. That early pace held him near the front of the field through two miles before the middle and closing miles settled into a steadier, more moderate rhythm. Suh's first two miles stand out as the fastest stretch of his race, averaging roughly 8:36 per mile before the pace eased for the second half. Racing at Boulder's elevation of over 5,000 feet, that quick start reflects a well-managed opening effort. Building a touch more evenly across the back half could help him sustain that early tempo deeper into future 10Ks.
