Strong Start Carries Steady 10K Finish Jayme Tipre completed the 10K in 1:32:28, finishing 10th in her F 65-69 division. Her race opened fast and settled into a steady grind: an opening mile of 13:19 was her quickest of the day, and she held mid-13:00 pace through two miles before easing through the middle miles into the 14:00s and finishing with a final mile at 17:58. That opening mile stands out as the strongest stretch of her race, nearly a minute and a half faster per mile than her closing effort. Running the 10K at Boulder's elevation, over 5,000 feet, adds context to the steady pace management she showed across the second half of the course.
