Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Noah Caratao #32383 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 10K Distance: 6.2 miles

Steady Pace Through the Middle, Strong Push to the Mall Noah Caratao completed the 10K in 1:01:10, finishing 427th among men. His race unfolded in two distinct halves: a brisk opening mile at 9:41 followed by his fastest split of the day, 9:22 for mile two, bringing him under a 9:31 cumulative pace early on. The middle miles told a different story, as splits slowed to 10:02 and 10:08 through miles three and four before he rallied with a 9:31 fifth mile. The final mile ticked up to 10:32, closing out the race on the Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder, a city that sits above 5,000 feet of elevation. Caratao's strongest work came in that second mile, a pace he wasn't quite able to recapture as the race wore on.
