Steady 10K Effort Rounds Out a Solid Field Finish Cheryl Ruyle completed the 2026 Boulderthon 10K in 1:04:32, finishing within the field of 3,071 entrants. That mark trails her 2025 Boulderthon 10K time of 1:01:06, when she ran nearly a minute-per-mile faster. Ruyle's pacing was fairly even through the first two miles, both close to a 10-minute pace, before a third mile slowed to 11:02. She rebounded with her fastest mile of the day, a 9:54 fifth mile, before easing back in the closing stretch. Given that Boulder sits above 5,000 feet, holding cumulative pace within a tight band across the race reflects consistent effort management from start to finish.
