Faster Finish, Higher Finish: A Strong 10K Improvement Lauren Kinnucan ran the 2026 Boulderthon 10K in 47:50, finishing 115th overall and 33rd among women, with a 2nd-place finish in her 25-29 age division. This marks a clear improvement over her 2025 result of 50:07, cutting nearly two and a half minutes off her time and moving up 61 spots in the overall standings. Kinnucan opened fast, covering her first mile in 6:39, the quickest split of her race. She settled into a steady rhythm through the middle miles, holding her cumulative pace between 7:06 and 7:26 min/mile through mile five before finishing at 7:42 min/mile overall. Her first mile stood out as her strongest stretch, and that early pace gave her a cushion to work with over the rest of the course, which finishes on the Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder.
