Steady Pace Shaves Two Minutes Off Last Year's 10K Giselle Noll crossed the 2026 Boulderthon 10K line in 54:12, trimming more than two minutes off her 2025 10K time of 56:25 and improving her per-mile pace from 9:06 to 8:44. The race unfolded as a gradual fade from a strong start: she opened at 7:41 for mile one, then eased through the middle miles into the mid-8:00s before a tougher final full mile pushed her split to 10:20 ahead of the short stretch to the finish. That opening mile stands out as her fastest of the day, a pace she wasn't able to fully sustain as the race wore on. Given that Boulder sits above 5,000 feet, holding that early rhythm as long as she did is worth noting. Building a bit more strength into the closing miles could help her carry that early speed further next time.
