Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Falon Love #32696 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 10K Distance: 6.2 miles
A Faster 10K, Wire to Wire Falon Love ran the 2026 Boulderthon 10K in 56:05, nearly four minutes faster than her 2024 finish of 1:00:00 on the same course. Her pace tightened from 9:40 to 9:02 per mile, and she moved up from 480th to 425th overall and from 199th to 168th among women. Love's race was strongest through the opening 5K, holding 8:31-8:37 miles for the first three miles before easing slightly in the back half. Her fastest mile-plus stretch came early: miles one through three covered in roughly 25:43, an 8:34 pace. Mile four eased to 9:24 before she settled back into the low 8:40s. Boulder's elevation, over 5,000 feet, makes that opening consistency worth noting.
