Strong Start Fuels a Steady 10K Finish Sidney Mitchell finished the 2026 Boulderthon 10K in 50:33, an 8:09 min/mile pace, placing 182nd overall and 56th among women. Mitchell opened fast, clocking 7:43 and 7:30 in her first two miles, before settling into a slightly more measured rhythm through the middle miles. Her strongest full-mile stretch came early, covering miles one through three in just under 23 minutes. The final miles saw a gradual easing of pace, with mile six the slowest of the race, but the early speed banked enough time to secure a solid overall finish. This 10K wound through downtown Boulder, a city sitting above 5,000 feet, before finishing on the historic Pearl Street Mall.
