Steady Pacing Through a Shifting 10K Tori Dyer finished the 2026 Boulderthon 10K in 1:03:10, an elapsed pace of 10:11 per mile. Her race opened briskly, with a 9:53 first mile and a 9:41 second mile that stood as her fastest of the day. The middle miles cooled slightly into the 10:19-10:25 range before she rebounded to 9:42 in mile five, then eased through the finish on the Pearl Street Mall. That final stretch on the Mall capped a race run at altitude, with Boulder sitting above 5,000 feet. The pace swings across the six miles suggest room to build a more even effort in future 10Ks, particularly through the middle miles where the biggest dip occurred.
