Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Reagan Giles #32656 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 10K Distance: 6.2 miles

Ten Minutes Faster, One Steady Climb Reagan Giles ran the 2026 Boulderthon 10K in 1:01:21, cutting nearly ten minutes off her 2025 time of 1:11:03 and moving from 11:27 to 9:53 min/mile pace. Her race unfolded steadily, holding in the high 9:00s across the opening miles before a brief mid-race dip and a strong push through the final stretch. Her sharpest mile came between miles four and five, covered in 9:20, the fastest full mile of her race. That surge capped a race run at altitude, in a city that sits above 5,000 feet, and closed out where every Boulderthon distance finishes: on the historic Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder.
