Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Evelyn Ibarra #30200 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 10K Distance: 6.2 miles

Steady Miles Carry Denver Runner to a Solid 10K Finish Evelyn Ibarra finished the 2026 Boulderthon 10K in 1:03:06, averaging 10:10 per mile through downtown Boulder to the finish on the Pearl Street Mall. Ibarra's pace held remarkably steady through the middle of the race, with miles two and four both clocking in at 9:27-9:28, her strongest full-mile stretches of the day. After opening at 10:03, she settled into a rhythm between 9:27 and 10:24 for miles two through five before easing slightly in the closing mile. That consistency through the race's midsection reflects well-managed effort at an elevation over 5,000 feet, where Boulder's altitude adds its own demand to any pacing plan.
