Strong Start Fuels a Steady 10K Finish Juan W Valle covered the 10K in 1:04:12, an overall pace of 10:21 per mile. He was not among the race's front-runners, but his effort reflected disciplined pacing through the first half of the course. His fastest stretch came in the opening three miles, where he moved through 9:54, 9:37, and 9:35 splits a sub-10-minute pace that put him among the race's quicker movers early on. The back half eased slightly, with miles four through six settling into the 10:1812:21 range as the effort evened out toward the finish. Given that Boulder sits above 5,000 feet, maintaining that early rhythm speaks well of his pacing strategy. Overall, a well-managed run with a clear positive takeaway in the early miles.
