Steady Pace Through the Middle Miles, Strong to the Line Carrie Zielinski finished the 2026 Boulderthon 10K in 1:04:28, a slightly slower result than her 2025 finish of 1:02:20. Her race unfolded evenly through the first five miles, holding between 9:46 and 10:06 pace, before a dip in the sixth mile brought her overall pace to 10:23 by the finish. Zielinski's strongest mile-plus stretch came in miles one and two, where she covered the distance in under 20 minutes at a 9:46 pace. With the 10K starting at 7:45 AM in downtown Boulder, she can take encouragement from that early rhythm as a building block for future races.
