Steady Pace Carries 10K to a Strong Finish Jackson Sniff completed the 2026 Boulderthon 10K in 1:13:22. His cumulative pace held in a tight band through the first three miles, easing only slightly before a mile four stretch that slowed to 13:19. He answered immediately with his fastest mile of the race, an 10:34 fifth mile, before settling in to close things out at 11:38 over the final mile. Boulder sits at over 5,000 feet of elevation, a backdrop for this steady, even-keeled effort. The race finishes on the historic Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder, a fitting stage for a runner who found his best rhythm in the closing miles after a brief midrace dip.
