Steady Pace Carries Denver Runner Through a Strong 10K Nam Duong finished the 2026 Boulderthon 10K in 55:30, an 8:57 min/mile average pace, placing 397th overall and 245th among men out of the field of 3,071. Duong's race built momentum through the middle miles, dropping from a 9:07 opening mile to 8:40 and 8:47 before settling into a strong middle stretch. His fastest mile came between miles 4 and 5, clocked at 8:30, marking the quickest mile of his race before easing slightly over the final mile to the finish. That mile-5 surge stood out as the highlight of an otherwise consistent effort, one that held together well across the second half of the course.
