Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Gina Gersabeck #30448 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 10K Distance: 6.2 miles

Strong Start, Steady Finish in the Pack Gina Gersabeck finished the 2026 Boulderthon 10K in 50:22, placing 174th overall and 52nd among women in a field of 3,071. That result put her comfortably inside the top tier of finishers for the race. Gersabeck opened quickly, covering her first two miles in 7:47 and 7:50, then eased through a middle stretch that saw her mile-three and mile-four splits drift to 8:07 and 8:24. She answered with her strongest mile of the day, a 7:40 fifth mile that pulled her cumulative pace back down to 7:57 per mile, before easing to the finish on the final mile. Running the race at Boulder's altitude of over 5,000 feet, Gersabeck's ability to rebound after the midrace dip stands out as the highlight of her effort.
