Steady Miles Give Way to a Late Push at the 10K Rose Grover finished the 2026 Boulderthon 10K in 55:06, a step back from her 47:24 at the 2024 edition of the race. Her early miles held firm in the 8:20s, with the second mile her fastest of the day at 8:07, before the pace eased through the middle miles and slowed further over the closing stretch. Grover's opening 5K, covered in roughly 42 minutes, showed the most consistent rhythm of her race, with mile-to-mile pace staying within a narrow band. Boulder's altitude, over 5,000 feet, adds context to any pacing shifts across a field of 3,071 participants. Grover may look to carry that early consistency further into the back half next time out.
