Steady Miles Carry Him Through Downtown Boulder Derek Bohle finished the 2026 Boulderthon 10K in 1:00:06, holding a consistent pace across the field of 3,071 in Boulder. Bohle's cumulative pace stayed tight through the first five miles, hovering between 9:29 and 9:36 min/mile, before easing slightly in the final mile. His second mile stood out as his strongest stretch, clocked at 9:05, and his fifth mile matched that effort closely at 9:20. This consistency through the middle miles reflects well-managed effort at altitude, with Boulder sitting above 5,000 feet. A slightly more even final mile could help him close races with the same strength he opened them.
