Strong Pace Through Five Miles Fuels Top-10% Finish Drew Keeney finished the 10K in 44:45, placing 72nd overall and 54th among men in a field of 3,071 at the 2026 Boulderthon. Keeney's pacing stayed remarkably tight through the first four miles, holding between 7:01 and 7:13 per mile, before he surged to a 6:39 fifth mile his fastest of the race. The final mile slowed to 8:03 as the effort caught up with him, but the earlier consistency had already banked solid time. Racing at Boulder's altitude of over 5,000 feet, Keeney's even early splits reflect a well-managed effort before the late fade.
