Steady Pace Through the Middle Miles Fuels a Solid 10K Finish Erin Mcmahon completed the 2026 Boulderthon 10K in 1:21:20, an average pace of 13:07 per mile across the 6.2-mile course. Her race built momentum early, dropping to a 12:01 mile-two split her fastest mile of the day after opening with a 12:37 first mile. The middle miles held in the 12:4513:32 range before the pace eased in the closing mile. Running at Boulder's elevation of over 5,000 feet, Mcmahon showed her strongest sustained effort in that second mile, a stretch worth building on with any future speed work at similar elevation.
