Steady Splits Cap Strong 10K Effort Carolyn Kragie, 35, of Castle Rock, CO, finished the 2026 Boulderthon 10K in 55:19, an 8:55 min/mile pace. Her race built steadily through the middle miles, holding in the 8:40s and 9:00s before a strong fifth mile at 8:26 her fastest of the day before easing back over the final stretch to the finish. Boulder sits at over 5,000 feet of elevation, a notable backdrop for that mid-race surge. Kragie's race closed out on the historic Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder, capping a well-paced effort through the rolling course with a finish that reflected strong control over her effort from start to finish.
