Strong Start Fuels a Steady Finish Evelyn Spencer completed the 2026 Boulderthon 10K in 1:22:38, finishing among a field of 3,071 participants. Her race opened with its quickest mile, a 11:32 pace, before easing through the middle miles and settling into a 13:25 per mile overall average by the finish. The final mile was her slowest of the day, reflecting the sustained effort required across the second half of the course. Racing at Boulder's altitude of over 5,000 feet, Spencer's early pace stands as the highlight of her run, and building a touch more evenness between her opening and closing miles could be a useful focus for her next 10K.
