Steady Start Gives Way to a Gradual Fade Across the 10K Niki White completed the 2026 Boulderthon 10K in 1:15:58. She opened with her fastest mile of the day at 10:00, then eased pace steadily through the middle miles before the final mile slowed to 14:54, closing out the course on the Pearl Street Mall. Running at Boulder's altitude, over 5,000 feet, Whites early mile stood out as her strongest stretch, holding sub-11:00 pace before the cumulative effort built through the back half. Tightening the gap between that opening mile and the middle miles could offer a smoother overall progression in a future 10K.
