Steady Start Gives Way to a Hard-Earned Finish Allie Hanson completed the 2026 Boulderthon 10K in 57:25, finishing behind her 2025 time of 52:55 on the same course. Her first mile came in at 8:09, and she held pace in the low 8:teens through mile two before each successive mile gradually slowed, with mile six clocking 11:26. Hanson's opening 3 miles, covering the distance in 25:13, an 8:24 min/mile pace, stood as the strongest stretch of her race. Boulder's altitude, sitting above 5,000 feet, adds context to any Boulderthon effort, and Hanson's ability to bank early pace before the later miles slowed is a useful building block for future training.
