Strong Start Fuels Steady Finish at 2026 Boulderthon 10K Alejandro Lopez completed the 2026 Boulderthon 10K in 1:00:51, an overall pace of 9:48 per mile within a field of 3,071. Lopez opened briskly, covering the first two miles in 8:41 and 8:32, before easing through the middle miles as his pace settled into the 9:4110:30 range. The final stretch brought a further dip in pace, closing out a race defined by a fast early rhythm and a gradual, controlled decline. His first two miles remain the clear high point of the effort a pace he might look to sustain longer in future 10Ks. Boulders elevation, over 5,000 feet, adds context to the days pacing story, with the course finishing on the historic Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder.
