Steady Closing Kick Carries Houston Runner Through Boulder's 10K Fausto Moh covered the 2026 Boulderthon 10K in 1:01:29, finishing among the field of 3,071. His race opened briskly, with a first two miles at a combined 9:23 pace, before a dip through miles three and four slowed his cumulative pace to 9:59. He steadied over the back half, closing with a 9:41 final mile that pulled his overall average back toward 9:55 min/mile. The effort came at Boulder's elevation of over 5,000 feet, a notable backdrop for a race that pushed his pace higher in the middle miles before he found his rhythm again late. That final mile stands out as his strongest sustained stretch of the day, suggesting a bit more even pacing through the middle third could help him carry that closing speed further next time.
