Strong Closing Kick Seals Steady 10K Effort Kianna Storm crossed the finish in 1:04:34 for the 10K, holding a consistent pace across the distance before closing with her fastest mile of the race. Her opening mile came in at 10:26, and pace held in the 10:1910:39 range through the middle miles, with a brief dip to 10:57 at mile three. She rebounded quickly, running 10:19 for mile five and then 10:11 for mile six the fastest mile of her race to bring the effort home. That finishing mile stands out as the highlight of an evenly run 10K, one she could look to build on with an even split target for her next race. The course finished on the Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder, a city sitting above 5,000 feet of elevation.
