Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Antonio Huerta #30910 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 10K Distance: 6.2 miles

Steady Early Pace Fuels Solid 10K Finish Antonio Huerta crossed the line in 54:23 at the 2026 Boulderthon 10K, averaging 8:46 per mile across the 6.2-mile course. Huerta's opening two miles were his strongest, clicking off identical 8:01 splits before settling into a gradual fade over the back half. His first mile stands as the standout stretch of the race, and that early rhythm carried him through a solid overall pace despite a slower finishing mile. The race unfolded downtown in Boulder, a city sitting at over 5,000 feet of elevation, before finishing on the historic Pearl Street Mall.
