Steady Start Gives Way to a Patient Finish Jaime Rodriguez-Roggie completed the 2026 Boulderthon 10K in 1:22:18. The opening mile came in at 11:13, and each mile afterward eased slightly, with the sixth mile landing at 16:47 as the race wound to its close in downtown Boulder. Rodriguez-Roggie's strongest stretch came early: the first three miles held a cumulative pace under 12:00 per mile, the fastest sustained running of his 10K. Boulder's elevation, over 5,000 feet, offers useful context for a race that gradually slowed mile over mile. A future 10K could be an opportunity to work on holding that early rhythm deeper into the back half.
