Steady Start Fuels a Solid 10K Pace Manases Quintana crossed the finish line of the 2026 Boulderthon 10K in 1:04:18, an overall pace of 10:22 per mile. His sharpest running came in the opening two miles, covered at a 9:57 per mile pace, before settling into a steadier rhythm through the middle of the course. The final mile slowed to 11:59, closing out the race after a strong start. Quintana's early pace held up well given Boulder's elevation above 5,000 feet, a demanding backdrop for any distance. The race began at 8:10 AM in downtown Boulder, and like every distance at Boulderthon, his 10K wrapped up on the historic Pearl Street Mall. Building a bit more even pacing across the back half could help him carry that early speed all the way to the finish next time.
