Steady Early Pace Gives Way to a Tough Final Mile Andrew Song completed the 2026 Boulderthon 10K in 1:04:44. He moved through the first two miles in 9:52 and 9:18, settling his cumulative pace near 9:34 min/mile at the halfway point. Miles three and four held close to that rhythm before a gradual slide through miles five and six pulled his overall pace down to 10:26 min/mile by the finish. His fastest mile came early, covering mile two in 9:18, the strongest stretch of the race. Boulder's elevation, over 5,000 feet, adds context to any pacing shift late in a race at this distance.
