Date: Sept. 27, 2026 Participant: Charlotte Kellett #31293 Race: 2026 Boulderthon 10K Distance: 6.2 miles

Teen Speedster Claims Age-Group Crown at Altitude Charlotte Kellett, 15, of Mount Pleasant, SC, finished the 2026 Boulderthon 10K in 46:26, placing 91st overall and 24th among women in a field of 3,071 and first in the women's 15-19 division. Her pace held remarkably steady across the race, hovering between 7:15 and 7:34 per mile through the first five miles before easing slightly to close things out. The standout stretch came at mile five, where Kellett clocked a 6:57 split, her fastest mile of the race and a strong surge that pushed her overall placement up significantly at that checkpoint. Running the 10K in Boulder, which sits above 5,000 feet, that kind of closing kick speaks well to her pacing discipline and finishing strength on race day.
