Steady Pace Carries Tran Through 10K Finish Lan Tran, 20, of Morrison, CO, completed the 2026 Boulderthon 10K in 1:02:05. Her opening mile was her fastest at 9:19, and she held close to that rhythm through the first half of the race, crossing 5K in roughly 28:49. The middle miles settled into a consistent 9:36-10:09 range, showing solid control across the bulk of the distance before the pace eased in the closing mile. The race finished on the Pearl Street Mall in downtown Boulder, a fitting close given the city's elevation of over 5,000 feet. Tran's early-mile speed stands out as the strongest stretch of her race worth building on if she looks to sustain that pace deeper into future 10Ks.
